way to reach out
my community is 4-H, since it's a youth organization i think i would go to schools and do a presentation there, make a powerpoint and some flyers to send home with the kids so that way they can show their parents so the parents know about it, i'll make a cool presentation..with pictures and words! yay! exciting! :P

Great. So a powerpoint presentation and flyers. Sounds good. Make sure you have a credits page on your powerpoint documenting where any info or photos came from.
Creating a powerpoint that appeals to kids and not adults will be an interesting task. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
If you want to add more text to your project, you might also write a letter that you would initially send to schools requesting to come visit and give this presentation.
I like your sense of humor - it's kind of like insanity, mixed with ADD :P lol...j/k...thought I would comment on your's even though you already told me what it said. Should be exciting to see what you come up with as a final project!
